Getting started

### How do I get Ramosa?

Not quite yet. Ramosa is coming to macOS and Windows; when it is ready, the download appears at the bottom of every page. It’s free to start.

### How do I add my first mailbox?

Choose your provider and follow the steps Ramosa shows. QQ Mail, 163, 126, yeah.net and Feishu Mail use an app password or an authorization code, and Ramosa walks you through getting one. Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail and Microsoft 365 will sign in through your browser instead — see [supported mail](https://ramosa.app/help#supported-mail) for where each one stands.

### Can I add more than one mailbox?

Yes. Your mailboxes read together in one inbox, or one at a time. Free has one mailbox, Standard up to three, Pro unlimited.

Supported mail

## The mail Ramosa *works with.*

The providers marked ready have been set up and tested: adding the mailbox, receiving, sending, and the sign-in steps Ramosa walks you through. The others are built but not open yet. More are added as each one is finished.

Ready

- QQ Mail & Foxmail
- 163 Mail
- 126 Mail
- yeah.net
- Feishu Mail

Opening soon

- Gmail (after Google’s review)
- Outlook & Hotmail (in testing)
- Microsoft 365 (in testing)
- iCloud Mail (in testing)

Gmail will connect with Google sign-in in your browser, and opens once Google has finished reviewing Ramosa; Ramosa does not use app passwords for Gmail. Outlook, Hotmail and Microsoft 365 will sign in with your Microsoft account in the browser, and iCloud Mail with an app-specific password; they open once we have finished testing them with real accounts.

The wheel

### Where did my notifications go?

Receipts, deliveries and alerts never crowd your inbox. They wait in the notification wheel at the bottom of the window.

### How do I clear them?

Scroll over the wheel. Each notch files one notification away. Scroll to the end and you’re all caught up.

### What about sign-in codes?

When a code arrives, Ramosa shows it at the bottom of your screen. Click once and it’s on your clipboard. Codes you don’t use wait in the wheel.

Replying

### How does replying with AI work?

Press Reply and Ramosa reads the thread, offers three directions, then drafts the one you pick — formal, warm or brief, in your recipient’s language.

### Will Ramosa ever send something for me?

No. Nothing is ever sent without you. The draft waits for you to read, change and send it.

Your data

### How do I delete my data or disconnect Google?

Each of these does one thing, so use the ones you need.

This computer. In Ramosa, open Settings → Privacy & Data and choose “Clear data on this device”. It removes the mail, attachments, logs and saved mailbox credentials Ramosa keeps on that computer, and Ramosa restarts. Your Ramosa account stays. Do it on each computer you use.

One mailbox. Open Settings → Accounts & Contacts and choose Remove next to it. Ramosa stops connecting to it and deletes its mail, attachments and credentials from that computer. The mail at your provider is untouched.

Your Ramosa account. Write to [Contact@Ottera.ltd](mailto:Contact@Ottera.ltd) from your account’s address. We delete your account and its cloud records at once — no waiting period, and no way back. A few limited records are kept only as long as [section 9 of the Privacy Policy](https://ramosa.app/privacy#s9) describes.

Google access. In your Google Account, under Security, open [Your connections to third-party apps & services](https://myaccount.google.com/connections), choose Ramosa and delete its connection. Ramosa can then no longer reach that Gmail mailbox. Mail already on your computer stays until you clear it or remove the mailbox in Ramosa.

### What does Ramosa do with my Gmail?

Gmail opens once Google has finished reviewing Ramosa. Then Ramosa uses Google’s Gmail API from your computer to read your mail, send the messages you send, mark a message read in Gmail when you open it (if you turn on “Tell the mail server what you have read”), and receive new-mail notifications. It doesn’t delete or move your Gmail messages, and your mail is stored on your computer. The details are in [section 6 of the Privacy Policy](https://ramosa.app/privacy#s6).

Billing

Plans, weekly usage, refunds and payments have their own page.

Something’s off

### New mail isn’t showing up.

Ramosa shows a new message once it has been read and sorted, so it can appear a moment after your phone gets it. It checks your mail server regularly and keeps trying if a connection drops.

### A mailbox is marked in red.

Its password or authorization code has stopped working — often after you changed it with your provider. Open Settings and reconnect that mailbox with a new one.

### Mail arrives unsorted.

When the AI can’t be reached, or your weekly usage has run out, new mail still arrives — marked as unsorted, without a notification. Sorting resumes on its own.

### Something else.
